Rodger, You seem to know your stuff. Just to get me going on this preject, what does your ideal rebuild consist of? Any tricks or shortcomings of the 318 that have a fix? Any part manufacturers that you might recommend? I was looking for a driver, but hell I kinda feel left out when all of my buddie...

Its really not so much about performance (unlike the mopar tradition :) What I'm trying to go for here is a bad @#% no-hood rat rod looking engine compartment. I am really fond of the sbc 3x2 stromberg look, although I still have some attachment to my mopar motor. Right now I have a edelbrock manifo...

3x2 Manifold????
Are there any manifolds out there from other makes or models that will fit a 318? I looking for a 3x2 or something rat rod-ish and so far my only option is to use the 2x2 to 4bbl adapter. Any ideas? Thanks!

Roger, typically most of us just weld 1x1 solid bar to our frames. The old school way was to just drag your frame. A few of my buddies with body dropped trucks (channeled, or when you raise the frame higher into the floor to the body actually touches when laid down) actually drag body. Dumb in conce...

oil pan ???
Hey guys, I have a 69 318 and I'm switching the oil pan to a rear sump and in doing so, I realize the mopar performance pan I received does not have the little holes for the front and rear rubber gasget mount tabs. I need new gasgets but I'm not sure what year to say at the parts store. Any ideas on...

Rear sump oil pan...
I saw someone taking about a rear sump oil pan a while back. I just got my mustange 2 stuff and when looking at the crossmember and steering rack, I dont think it will fit with my 318's oil pan. Is there such a beast as a rear sump and do they change any engine dynamics? Thanks!

fatman experiences
Hello all, I have been piecing together my front end as you can tell from my other posts. I am curious as to how many of you have used a fatmanfab crossmember or kit. I was quoted $570 for the crossmember today and I swear I heard someone get it for 400 here. Any ideas? Also how easy are they to ins...
