Poly electronic ignition - best options please
Hello everyone, It's been a while, my 1965 D200's been sitting idle for over two year in my back yard after she decided to "run like crap" - it's time to get her on the road again! Tonight my Dad and I pulled the heads, I have two dead cylinders, burnt valves, going to the machine shop tomorrow. My ...

Been running hard lines. My motto - good enough  On the road again? Soon!!! Pics coming up in a week ...

Really need a pic of tandem brake distribution block!
Hey guys - I still haven't mounted my 5 way block. I'm not sure which way it goes. On top of the frame rail? My truck's a '65 D200, previously a single master. Got the box at the junk yard (from a '67) but it's been so long ago I don't remember how it mounts! Any help (a picture would be really cool...

Spin on conversion for a Poly oil filter - info please!
Local pick and pull tomorrow, I'm gonna get rid of the canister filter on my '65 318 poly. I stripped the darn threads this morning trying to get it back on - my exhaust is right in the freakin' way, the canister's a pain, the tube threads are now messed up :pale I'm going spin on. I know I've read ...

Pic of '67 power brake distribution block location please???
Hello guys, Ok - I'm there. I'm going to mount a NOS '67 power booster and MC on my '65 D200 this weekend. I pulled the little 5 way distribution block from a '68 (non-power) tadem MC truck a while back... I know I need to punch a hole in the frame rail, I'm curious exactly where for a factory look....

Thanks Russ - I figured the plasitc sleeve doesn't offer much protection on it's own. Anybody else - hard or soft foam? Should it fill the whole space? I should've gone the easier route! My truck's in too many pieces! I'm getting nervous, I didn't intent to tear so much apart at one time :pale Brake...

Power booster questioin (got one NOS)
Hi guys, So I'm going power brakes on my '65 D200 after all, Dad talked me into it. Bought a NOS '67 bendix booster and master - I've got a question... Is there some sort of foam or something that's supposed to fill the void around the push rod, inside the plastic sleeve thingy? The reason I ask, Th...

Alright then, more $$$. :Thumbsup Will do the new star and yes, I need rubber too. The rattle is annoying, it'll be worth it. I've got to remove the window frame? Ouch! Oh well, "do it right", yep no biggie - will have to do. I kind of like spending dough on my truck, weird huh? Thanks guys, Darrell

Replacing door striker "star wheel" thingy...
Tough job? My driver's door rattles like a sumbiotch at engine idle because the little star wheel is really worn... ('65 D200) I'm going to the pull and save this weekend for other stuff, thought I'd ask how tough and what tools to bring to get me a different one. I assume the passenger side is the ...

Hey thanks guys - I'm hopeful but - Brian hit the nail on the head, I'm worried about the 4.75 backspace and rubbing the steering arm, not really too much about the extra 1 1/4" wheel width. I'm still working on the brakes so anybody who's put a 4.75" on their truck feel free to chime it please! :lo...

Backspace (again!) with skinny tires - maybe?
I found an great deal on a set of '96 3/4 ton takeoffs, the standard chrome ones with the big Ram centercap, most '94-2000 Dodges have got 'em. I'm thinking about replacing my 17.5s. Question - 17.5" x 5.25" original wheels, exactly 4" backspace. Running 8R17.5 tires. 16" x 6.5" replacements, exactl...

'65 D200, artic blue. Named her Azul Grande on the 120 white knuckle drive home (I had brakes, kind of  ) Second guessed myself after spending time cleaning her up. Did I really want to name my truck "Huge, Giant, Gigantic, etc. blue"? Probably let me down in the middle of nowhere if I refered ...
