Re: Scarebird disc brake conversion.

Scarebird also sell the machined hubs. It's advisable to buy new rotors, rebuilt calipers and new hoses locally. NAPA, A-zone, Advanced, RockAuto; whichever you have bet luck with. At work now; parts list is on my home computer. Maybe someone else can access that info, or I'll try to post again late...

Mini starter question

Has anyone replaced the odd direct drive starter with a regular or mini-starter? I have one I bought for my Monaco , thought if I could get rid of the oddball and use something a bit more current that'd be the bomb. Application is a 66 D100 with A-318 and and a three speed(cast iron hydraulic bellho...

May have to redrill the holes in the cross member, but if thats what it takes; so be it. I was able to buy new front engine insulators, that took a lot of vib...

My "free" 66 d100

Hi folks. Recently got a 1966 D100 given to me after a friend of mine passed away from cancer. His brother knew I liked the truck and we were all pretty close, so he just gave it to me. It isn't cherry by any means; but it sure has a special meaning for me at least. Plans are to repair the rust, som...

No, I didn't call anyone; I sell MoPar Parts for a living, just went on DealerConnect and looked. You're right- Mancini might have a set, though. They always gave good service, imo.

That oil filter study is 7 years old. There is a lot of good information in there but MoPar now sources their filters through Wix. HTH

Bellhousing question

Getting ready to pull the engine and trans out of my 67 p200(Bread truck). I noticed there are 2 bolt patterns on this rascal :thinking . Could one pattern be a v8? Hydraulic clutch, 3spd 6cyl engine. Found a casting #2235714-1. Sorry camera is dead, so no pics. Thanks, George

Hi everyone, would like to know if a 62 Swepty would have hydraulic or mechanical linkage for clutch operation. The Parts book on this site only specifies for 63-68. Thanks, George
