Carter thermoquad #4-237 Any ID help?

Hi,
I've got a thermoquad that I can't identify. # 4-237. I'd like to know the cfm and
about when it was installed. I googled this info and drew a dead end. I'm hoping
it'll be just the ticket for my 318. I have the correct iron intake for it already.
Who's got Carter books? Steve

A fellow has a '73 clubcab for sale and told me it had a 400. NOT. Small block, and I haven't checked the numbers yet.
The VIN is D17AJ3S096553 . Who can tell me what engine/trans came when new. Thanx, Steve

Has Anybody Tried HEI Distibutor for Mopar?

I stumbled across this on eBay. Chrysler Mopar HEI Distributor 318 340 360 50,000 Volt ... It's a one wire distributor and coil (chebbie style) made to fit s/b mopes. Someone must be trying these things.

Re: Oil leaking at pinion, 9 1/4

My original 8 3/4 had an axle bearing failure. I got the 9 1/4 from the salvage yard. ( for free, a friend owned the yard ) It was in a '69 D-100. Apparently not the original one for the '69 either. At the time of my swap I put in new flex lines and u-joints.

Oil leaking at pinion, 9 1/4

Greetings Dodgeboys, my 9 1/4 is starting to leak at the pinion seal. This rearend seal is new stuff for me. I've never changed this seal before. How many ft/#'s on the yoke nut? Anything special I should know for my first time. Thanks, Steve

Brake Booster Sucks???

Howdy again folks. My power brakes make a sucking sound when I hold the brakes at a light. It seems like I've read the answer here before but can't remember it or find it. What gives? Steve

Robin, I've been using an electric fan on some of my mopars for years in Texas. It gets HOT here. My '68 has 4 row core and a thermostaticly
controlled fan(puller). It can idle all day in the summer w/o trouble.

Alas no A/C for it yet. Steve

Yeah, I got one a year ago and it was great, at first. Lately its giving me trouble.
It spikes, going from no charge to full charge and back about 30 times a minute.
It must have gone bad. I liked it enough that I'll get another one. Like you said it rocks
when its right.

Good nite, Rob... looks like you just did it up bigtime. I am happy you survived. I guess after major surgury the crew will survive too. Beliving in seat belts goes way up after a half-gainer like that. Do you think a rollbar that mounts in the bed would have kept the top from coming down? I've neve...
