Re: White hat special

I'm not sure about the small back windows.... but the color of the roof is really up to you. I've read that the color of the roof on a '68 could be either white or black, and it didn't have to "match" the side trim color either. White and red look nice together... but then again, so does black and r...

Re: New to me 1970 W200

Quick question, is it common practice to replace the left-handed wheel studs on the driver side left side of this truck with right handed thread. I know a lot of people like to change the studs to the R/H type, but... I left mine the L/H type. I've been around MOPARs for all my driving life, so I'm...

OH YEAH! - optional steering wheel center cap, carpet sill trim, door panel bright trim and headliner with bright trim - ALL classy, custom package options!
Looks like a factory floor mat too.
Probably a 318/435?
OH... and don't forget the gun rack in the rear window! :salut Pretty cool truck!

Also happened to me last year, couldn't believe it. I now run two filters, one under the truck and one at the carbs. I check them periodically just to make sure they are both functioning.
Good idea!

OH... and a side note, even though the FILTER fell away from the carb/exit end I could still blow through it and I could also SEE ...

Fuel filter brand?

I went for a small ride over to a friends house today and it started to spit and sputter (almost quit running) just as I got there. I opened the hood and guess what I saw? Fuel filter was blocking the exit to the carb. So.... What fuel filter are you guys using in your line? Mine fell apart and star...

Re: Any landscapers OUT THERE??

From personal experience. What I did after backfilling with creek gravel was a few tons of horse manure spread with the neighbors spreader. Two years later it grows better than the lawn. Horse manure I can get for free, but I think I'll need to wait till the grass is more stabilized before adding t...

Re: Any landscapers OUT THERE??

not a landscaper but need to add something to that sandy stuff you call dirt either a nice layer of top soil or maybe mixing in some cow manure or something like that Yeah, Probably needs a mix of good nutrients on top which makes me think the fertilizer would work best. I can't afford to cover the...

Any landscapers OUT THERE??

A good question for a Landscaper (or those that deal with lawns) First, we NEVER EVER had a nice lawn but it was at least green with "whatever" that grew. Earlier this year I had a new septic system put in. They spread grass seeds with straw covering it and as the grass came up, some areas look nice...

Re: Do I Need New Rear Springs?

Hmmmm.... have you considered Air Shocks? You'll only pump them up when you have a heavy load and how many times would you need that? But, new springs may be in order. Looks like it sits "normal" without any load. Also... I don't know what new springs or having the old ones re-arced costs. Depends o...
