Re: Fresh from the farm

It's a tag axle, added who knows when. Have bed and hoist from another truck to put on it as soon as I finish some other projects.

Fresh from the farm

My latest find with pic (hopefully). '73 D600, 318, 4&2. No rust at cab mounts, good glass, runs and stops.

Re: Car haulers

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but Car Craft magazine had a car hauler in the 70's and I believe it was a Sweptline. The magazine had some articles about the truck and the one that sticks in my mind was installation of a CB radio.

Re: Fuel Tank Help

On my son's '63 we used the fuel tank (along with 400/727, rear axle and steering column) from a '78 Cordoba. Mounted behind rear axle using the '78 straps. Had to shorten the fill tube a few inches. Also used the hinged license plate bracket from the '78. Nice thing about using the tank from a Chry...

Restoration CD

Received mine today. Haven't got to see as much as I hoped to (due to watching the grandson). I think these things should have a warning on them: Warning!!! Can be highly addictive!!!

Gear Selector

On my son's '63 D100 we used the column from a '78 Cordoba (which also donated 400/727, rear axle, driveshaft and fuel tank). Length from rag joint coupling to splines was less than an inch (if memory is working correctly). Modified the p/u dash bracket, removed and relocated the lever on the box en...

Wiper switch

Switch on 68 D100 is malfunctioning. Have looked on web sites of local parts stores with no success. Has anyone purchased one lately? If so do you have the part number or name of supplier?

On my son's '63 we used the tank from a '78 Cordoba (which also donated 400/727, rear axle, driveshaft and steering column). Used the Cordoba straps to mount. Neck had to be shortened (not a problem since it is easily removed). Cap came out between bed and bumper. Also used the hinged license plate ...

Anyone know of any sites for the '58 and '59 Dodge trucks? A co-worker is looking for information. Any help is appreciated.
