Horsepower is all about combination. Each point of compression is approximately a 4% horsepower gain, but it you are under-compressioned it can be much more significant. The hp 383 cam probably produced more ponies than the one you are running now. You will notice they picked up 50 horsepower just ...

Thanks for the link! I really need to paint my truck and that is definately in the budget! I have sprayed the rustoleum before on a trailer and was very happy with how easy it was to spray, how it lasted and how it stayed shiny! I'm going to give it a shot with the roller. I no longer have a air com...

I purchased mine from Summit Racing. I fabricated my own mounts and found formed hoses to fit from Advance auto parts. It has been working great for a year now in the Savannah Heat! Hey TRUCKA, Good to see you on here! I saw your truck several months ago before you painted it driving by my work. I work w/ your neighbor Tommy Blackwelder at Critz INC. He showed me a pic of your truck the other day. He said you've been working hard on it. Looking good! I will have to look you up ...

Chris to keep it simple. I agree with jeffc, your linkage is hooked up correctly. You just need to add the small spring and also add to the length of the threaded rod. It is hard on the trans. with it not adjusted properly. You should have a small spring pulling the rear of the slot up to the carb. ...

I would like to stir the pot!!! I just replaced the front calipers on my 1997 Dodge truck. I went and purchased the calipers and brake pads. They looked familiar. :thinking I worked at a parts store for 3-4 years and recognized the part numbers. The calipers and pads also fit a 1/2 ton chevy truck! ...

Those screws can be a pain to get out. I have a impact screw driver that is stuck by a hammer to twist out stuborn screws. Worked great. When I reinstalled my grill I went to Advance auto and bought a cheap package of stainless screws. They were identical to the factory units. Hopefully next time wi...

The 4 degrees at the crank is 8 degrees at the camshaft. If your cam is really at 110 straight up you are now at 102. When I was running the 400 in my challenger with the .484 purple shaft I did the same thing by putting it 4 crank deg. advanced by the chain sprocket. It sounded awesome at idle w/ a...
