Re: Fuel Injection on a swetpy?
I've been very pleased with the Holley Snipers I've owned and worked with. The brand of engine that you bolt the throttle body EFI atop doesn't matter, they're all universal. It's important (and easy) to buy the right model such that the fuel and air capacity of the throttle body match the engine's ...

Re: HEADER OPTIONS FOR A CROWN VIC IFS SWAP
Great looking truck!
Perhaps shorty headers would solve your problem? They may subtract a few horsepower but that 505 has plenty to spare.
I used shorty headers on my truck with the Crown Vic front clip. Not a big block Chrysler but it runs great and made things easy.

Wood Bed Blocks
I recently made new bed blocks for my short bed '67. Figured these dimensions might help somebody make their own blocks. Or, I have extra material. Rear blocks 3-7/8 X 2-1/2 X 2-1/2 Rear mid 2 X 2-1/4 X 2-1/2. The 2-1/4 dimension allows for angle to match frame, approximately 1/4". I used a strippin...

Re: Headliner
Looks fantastic. Is the foam already attached to the vinyl? If not did you glue in the foam to the roof first and then the vinyl or glue foam to vinyl and then roof? the foam is already laminated to the vinyl as purchased from tractorinteriors.com in bulk and it's cheap! The vinyl has a mini basket...

Re: Headliner
Thanks to you all, I just completed my headliner. I bought the material from Tractorinteriors as per prior posts. I went with 3/4" thick and had to bevel the edge foam to stuff it in but it looks nice and thick installed. They did not have the adhesive that is mentioned in this thread. I called 3M a...

Re: rear window seal
It will also help to look for a seal for a 61-67 truck, since all 68 trucks had large rear windows. Good call on the 68 large window, thanks. Your post got me researching and I came to find out my truck most closely resembles a 67 (hood and rear window and push button latches) but has a 68 title. O...

wing window divider seal rivets
The fasteners don't come with the seal that I bought from Detroit Muscle Technologies. I used the below rivets to attach the seal to the divider (seal on the wing window side). They worked well. Hanson Rivet & Supply Co, phone # 800 777 4838 Part number C4-6-ST 5056-H32 Aluminum. Only need 4 rivets ...

Re: Front end conversion - IFS, disk brakes, rack and pinion
I have a Ford Crown Vic front clip on my 68 D100. I'm really happy with it. Great brakes and suspension, all aluminum, well engineered and proven system. It fits the frame rails nicely. In my opinion the only drawback is the width, it forces a positive offset wheel, like +20mm. I found a wheel type ...
