Hey y’all,
Is anyone familiar with a rebuild kit for my ACME T98A transmission? It is a Canadian version of a Borg Warner that came from factory in my 1961 W100.. any leads are appreciated. It has a horrible grinding noise in 3rd and 4th gear..

Re: Transmission identification- 61 power wagon
Looks like I should have just looked at the data plate on the drivers side door! It appears to be a Borg Warner T98 transmission.
I’m still looking into it more, but it appears to be a unusual transmission, as it was typically used by Jeep.
The research continues..

Transmission identification- 61 power wagon
Hey friends, I was hoping a transmission guru may stop by as bud help me ID this 4 speed transmission. I was thinking it may be a NP420. It only has three bolts per side on the top case, but the drain and fill plugs kind of looked like a NP435… any thoughts from the Sweptline crew?
Cheers, Matt

W100 vs D100 patch panels
Hey friends! I’m very new to the vintage Dodge club, but I picked up a 1961 W100 swb 4x4. It is in need of floors, rockers and steps. The W100 parts seem to be much less common in my searches. Are D100 patch panels the same as W100 panels? Do you have a suggestion as to where I find such panels? Tha...

New owner of 1961 W100!
Just wanted to say hello from Northern Canada! I recently picked up a 61 sweptline power wagon. Seems to be all original with a rebuilt 225 that runs like a sewing machine.
I took it for a drive last night, wow is the Np201 noisy. I will have to look into that further. Possibly the knock gear..?
