You can use epoxy primer, available at auto paint stores. Mix with hardener and apply with a small tight weave roller. The roller is available at Home Depot, and you can use a small brush for the corners. Epoxy primer is way better than rattle can lacquer.

I am using a front frame clip from an 89 on my 67 ,it has the big bolt pattern, I want to have the smaller bolt pattern. Are the spindles and control arms the same as the earlier small pattern, or do I have to change them? Can I change just the rotors?
