Re: Another Power steering thread.

Here's the other half of the project. The column doesn't line up with the shaft, and the joint rubbed on badly cut way body metal. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/UKgnkYmflmF1s64VkeO19yGFNnMqqegpd3cGW7Wofr-dSddWpBM3Sw1gD1afRhPoWbF2n3WiJ1KxyAy8G9z65g2ZrSjpMv7PisVpQ9gs76WMy_UYsOraHHy9yWMaWowT-uLFZTu...

Re: Another Power steering thread.

Here is the bracket they made to mount it. It works, I am going to improve on it if I use this same box again, they used spacers they could have avoided using with different bolts. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/iTZKatgIO-yb8ZLFM2XZP2wAvRrML_ucsJEYeP9mypbqz8yxaPryVbYTjNwGPzJzmeMVEZWFOeGtoaPg9rgKC...

Another Power steering thread.

Mine was converted sometime in the late 1990's by a previous owner. I have not had luck figuring out my what steering box I have. I sent pictures to Redhead Steering boxes, a rebuilder, I called Borgeson to inquire about a box that is part of one of their conversions that looks a lot like it, the gu...

Re: Clutch pedal torque arm help needed

Thanks, I'll look him up.

I bought this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HA ... UTF8&psc=1

It looks like everything I need. More $$$ than it seems these parts should be, but if it gets the job done, it cost what it costs sometimes.

Clutch pedal torque arm help needed

Hello everyone, I'm trying to straighten out some little annoying issues with my 1970 W200. I keep opening cans of worms. The power steering conversion done by a previous owner had some half @#% stuff done, one thing was the column support didn't line up with the steering box. Another was, the clutc...

I have power steering, did this truck come with it?

I have been looking for info on my steering, and it seems like maybe my W200 did not come with it, but it looks pretty original.
The guy I bought it from says it is a '69 chassis and a 1970 cab.

Re: New W200 owner needs tires.

I have 265/75/16 BFG All terrain T/As with no issues other than they are load range D. Doesn't sound like that would be a problem for you. Sorry, didn't intend to offend by not replying. Thanks for the tire size info and wheels specs. I checked out you web site, looks interesting, I will come back ...

Re: New W200 owner needs tires.

Yes, I meant negative offset on the rear is huge, very deep dished. I do assume the axles are stock, closed knuckle D44 front, D60 rear. I really want to get these crappy super swampers off. Can anyone recommend a wheel? Or show me a picture of their set up and what the specs are. I am totally flexi...

Re: New W200 owner needs tires.

I have searched and am having trouble finding what I need to know about wheels, offset, and back space. From what I have gathered so far, it seems I need to find some wheels with 3" to 3 1/2" of back space. Offset (I assume) will end up around 4.5" for an 8" wheel. Since my truck already has HUGE su...

New Member 1970 W200 Power Wagon

Hello, I'm new here. I just bought a 1970 Power Wagon W200 flatbed with a 318. I needed a truck to do some local errands and occasionally move my compact loader/backhoe 5 to 10 miles, and haul the occasional load of lumber, trash, or sod. I was looking at late '90's to mid 2000's pickups and didn't ...
