check the connection at the terminal where it goes thru the firewall,ive seen them get corroded,you also might look at the back of the amp gauge/light,they have been known to burn out

somewhere i seen a truck that had two rear axles,one was driven by a driveshaft,the rear one was ran by some sort of track or belt that ran from front to back axle,but it wasnt a track like a dozer the wheels were free of any tracks

power brakes might be a easy swap of the vacuum unit,power steering NO WAY,the swepts use the same gear for manual as they do for power assist,the power assist part is a outfit all of its own!!!

you will have to bolt the bell to the engine as there are bolts behind the flywheel that hold the bell to the engine

i did this on my 71 utiline,i used a tank off of a 60 somethimg belvediere,gauge works!!,had to weld in a couple of mounting bars,only picture i have is of the filler neck,i had to bend a piece of exaust tubing to make it come out where i wanted,only problem is its a bout a 16 gallon tank! butch it ...

at least some if not all of the outer stub axles have 2 grooves to take care of those problems,if yours only has one groove you might could change stub axles?
