Re: Turn signal cancelling part

Great info. Just ordered SM-9 from Rock Auto for 66 D100. Shee-Mar brand. Was curious how to disassemble but with new clips included it's ok to destroy the factory clip that holds it on. That had me worried.

Re: Headliner

It's stuck well. Contact cement is Permagrip PG107 sold by www.tractorinteriors.com where the headliner came from. They deal with farm tractors and equipment so I'm sure the heat won't be an issue and can says High Temperature. Hope this helps.

Re: Headliner

Thanks. Yeah, pick some colors and get some samples. That's what I did. Got the contact cement from them also. It's a 2 person job since once you stick it, it's stuck where you put it. Cut about an inch oversize all around and position it where it needs to be. I placed pieces of tape on the cab coin...

Re: New here and our new project

Welcome. I like the way it sits. My D100 could use some D200 rear springs. Hijackers doing their job so far for me. Keep us posted. What engine is in it?

Headliner

Replaced rotten straw basket headliner with 1/2" foam backed vinyl from www.tractorinteriors.com. They have everything you need. Cut material oversize and leave margins un-cemented to tuck into the edges. 66 D100. Easy DIY project and not too expensive.

tailight tint film

Glued the cracks in my tail light lenses but looking fugly. Wondering if tint film would hide the cracks. Thinking heavy smoke might be ok. Anyone have experiences in self adhesive smoke film for tail lights and if it would hide the cracks?

Re: Looking at buying this 67 sweptline

My Dad's 66 D100 sat in his garage for 20 years and I checked on it periodically and I just recently got it road worthy. New Champion radiator and all hoses last weekend, 160 deg thermostat, Raybestos master, brakes and cylinders, shoes all around, DOT 5, alloy wheels, tires, complete exhaust, alter...

Re: master brake cylinder fitting 60-66

Yep, too small on the master end. Got quick refund though. Currently the original seeps a little but will be ok until I work on it some more. Got DOT 5 so I'm ok with that.

master brake cylinder fitting 60-66

Installed new Raybestos brake master on the 66. Brass line adapter, of course, was not budging from the old master. Searched and searched local auto stores and all they had was short threaded at the line attachment. Desperate, I took the dreaded vise-grips to the old fitting and finally broke it loo...
