Re: 64 Power Wagon fuel gauge limiter
I hate to add this to my earlier post but I have to. I had said to tap the circular ring clockwise. I am not 100%, but I think its actually counter clockwise. You will be able to tell by looking at it. Sorry.

Re: 64 Power Wagon fuel gauge limiter
Well I finally got around to putting this float....mentioned earlier....in the truck. Exact match. Yup, there was a pinhole in the existing float and it was probably half full of gas. The float just clips in. To remove the sending unit us a drift and hammer to tap the inner circular ring clockwise. ...

Re: 64 Swepty wiper blades
Wiper blade 'refills' Ok here is the correct refill number, these are exact replacement. You will need a can of silicone spray to work them on as the spine is rubber all the way down it.....work it, work it. The clips will not be necessary as they fit so tight. These are a two pack for $5.99 They ar...

Re: 64 Swepty wiper blades
Thanks man for the link. I went through 5 pages of this forum last night. I saw that one, and am going to make it into town with my blade and look at all of them. I will post the exact replacement here when/if I find it.

64 Swepty wiper blades
Help! I'm having a hell of a time finding the right wiper blades refills or with bracket. NAPA no. O'reilly no. CARiD no. They are all to thin where the bracket mounts to the arm on the truck which is about a quarter of an inch. These 'others' look to be about a little over a sixteenths under (3mm?)...

Re: 64 Power Wagon fuel gauge limiter
So I ordered a replacement float here (it is supposed to work); Summit Racing Scott Drake replacement sending unit component (float only); COAZ-9202-B. where the first o is supposedly an oh not a zero. $5.85 This part is for a mustang. Summit racing part no; SDK-COAZ-9202-B Brass float. Overall diam...

Re: 64 Power Wagon fuel gauge limiter
No, the gauge is not working. I'd be afraid of soldering what with it having had fuel in it. Where would one find a float, would you know? I've had great luck with liquid steel elsewhere..(but never used it in gasoline) I see your from Walnut Creek. I used to live in Berkeley and SF for sometime bef...

Re: 64 Power Wagon fuel gauge limiter
I'm going to guess its a hole in the float as it's happened to others. Lil Liquid Steel ought to fix that if its an issue.

Re: 64 Power Wagon fuel gauge limiter
Thanks for the gauge powerwagon54. It did not fix my problem though. I however am getting a little voltage to it though as the needle comes up from its off position to the E mark. I've got a 3/4 full tank of gas....checked it by putting a yardstick down the filler. Next I guess I will be pulling the...

64 Swepty heater motor replacement
Guys, thought I'd post this for future reference to those of you needing a motor replacement at some point. It took me forever to find something to work and this is the only motor out there that comes close on diameter and length and shaft. You will have to manufacture a new mount for it, I did mine...

64 Power Wagon fuel gauge limiter
Hi guys. Can somebody tell me if the fuel gauge limiter is internal or external? Can an external be used if the internal is shot? Thought I'd order one up from Ebay that I've seen. I've seen one explanation on the web for as how to repair the internal one...but it looks much newer. Thanks
