I'm going to guess its a hole in the float as it's happened to others. Lil Liquid Steel ought to fix that if its an issue.

No problems with the fuel gauge.

Guys, thought I'd post this for future reference to those of you needing a motor replacement at some point. It took me forever to find something to work and this is the only motor out there that comes close on diameter and length and shaft. You will have to manufacture a new mount for it, I did mine...

Hi guys. Can somebody tell me if the fuel gauge limiter is internal or external? Can an external be used if the internal is shot? Thought I'd order one up from Ebay that I've seen. I've seen one explanation on the web for as how to repair the internal one...but it looks much newer. Thanks
