I have an adjustable valve for the rear brakes, I just havent adjusted it yet. Ill change the shoes around this weekend if I can, and see if that helps. Hopefully itll fix the park brake problem as well.

Not sure if this will help, but when I bought my radiator they sold shrouds and fans as well, and they had a handy chart to show how much cfm flow you needed, by horsepower and options such as automatic and A/C. See if you can find one of those charts. It takes the guess work out.
