...main goal was to drive down the interstate at 70mph... I'd strongly suggets to give it 8 degree shims between axle and Leaf springs that will give you 8° caster and a pleasant and straight drive! How firm steers the CPP Power Steering unit? I would compare this to my Firm Feel Stage III Power Steering unit in my car (1964 Dodge 440) which steers like a modern car. What about running a cross steering Rack & PInion Unit from Unisteer? I'm looking at item 8000460-04. Fabricating the cross steer...

I found these Front Springs....users on Facebook mentioned they where a bolt on for sweptlines and give a drop as well:

Hello, I'm still waiting to collect my Sweptline just before Xmas at the port in the Netherlands. It will get a healthy 440RB and needs definitely some beefed up front axle. I don't like the idea to cut or weld on the original frame. IF I would do so the Crown Vic would the way to go even from budge...
