No I did not see the truck in person I live to far away..he is to send a picture hopefully soon...The picture you sent is probably what they have done but I thought he said it had no leafs? I will post once I find out...so was this done with aftermarket kits or did Dodge offer it back in the day?

Hello...looking at a 1965 D100 longbed and the guy said it has rear coil springs and said the truck is all original?...Did they come like that from the factory? Just curious has anyone ever cut 8" out of a long box widebed to make it a short bed widebed? The frame I know has been done but was wondering about the box itself? because it seems like it is hard to find the short bed boxes themselves.. thanks

Are all 61-71 short boxes all the same(the boxes themselves)..I am looking at a 65 sb uteline truck and would like to replace the ute box with a sweptline box...I realize the taillights and tailgates diff...
