Re: Fuse Box - fuse types needed
Fuses and electrical all seem to be good now, just dealing with a voltage fluctuation that makes my lights pulse when they're on. I have installed pertronix coil, ignitor, new alternator, and voltage regulator. Thanks for all you help on this thread! Tom

Re: Motor compartment wiring + Pertronix gizmos + air gap
Thanks for all the replies. I think I have it pretty dialed, air-fuel mixture is good, plug gaps are good, wiring all seems correct and solid, starts and runs super smooth and quiet now. The only issue now is that there is rapid voltage fluctuation. The needle wiggles around a lot and the lights pul...

Motor compartment wiring + Pertronix gizmos + air gap
I'm back. Fuses seems to be fine so now it's on to other wiring gremlins. I just put in Pertronix Flame Thrower coil (1.5ohm) and Ignitor (to replace points and condenser). Also just put in new alternator and cap. There is so much legacy wiring, splices, wires to nowhere and mystery components so I'...

Re: Fuse Box - fuse types needed
Okay, I just spend an unreasonable amount of time making this pictures work in a way that I can post them on this site. Phew! This is my rig in question and the fuse box in it's current state. Thanks again for all the replies so far. This is conflicting information but it's getting closer. Jim68, th...

Re: Fuse Box - fuse types needed
Re photo uploads, thanks guys. I don't think it likes the png files on my phone. Ugh, we must still be in the dark ages. Anyhow, thanks for the tips. I'll get some images sorted out eventually from my computer. Was going to show images of fuse boxes.

Re: Fuse Box - fuse types needed
Jim, Thanks for this diagram. So now I'm getting conflicting fuse types from this site. One thread says all 20amp and 2amp. This shows different and different than what's in my fuse box. Likely I have the wrong fuses anyhow, but I'm thinking we all need some definitive answers on this. To all: do yo...

Re: Fuse Box - fuse types needed
Thanks, Bucky. Well, that's interesting. I've got 32 and 1 amp fuses in there among others. I wish there as a definitive resource for these rigs. I may try changing some of the fuses to see what happens.

Fuse Box - fuse types needed
My 68 D200 is a bucket of headaches at the moment. Currently trying to figure out which fuses are called for in the fuse box. I've spent days removing old wiring and all sorts of Mikey Mouse contraptions, trying to get to basic original wiring. Not I'm blowing fuses that control the driving lights, ...
