Some of the 318's I have seen have a remote filter location; does yours have this or is it still on the side of the engine?
On the side of the block still.

Lifter tap on cold start up

Hey guys, I have a 1970 318. I'm getting a tapping noise when I start up the motor cold. It only lasts for a couple seconds. If I give it a rev or two it goes away almost immediately. I read that running a bottle of Marvel Mystery oil could possibly help. Anybody had experience with this or have any...

I've been having a ton of fun with it. It will be featured on Discovery Channel's Sticker Shock on July 4th. Here are some u...

OOOPS!!! Damage control. Need advice.

I was installing some headers on my motor this weekend and noticed that one of the stud holes had a helicoil loosely hanging out after the stud came out with the nut. It's the first hole on the drivers side. The one that goes into the water jacket in the head. I was worried that the hole was going t...

How do you get in contact with these people? I have a unique Dodge RV that I think would be perfect for a movie. D300 Suspension

Anybody have any preferences on where to get sway bars for a D300?

I'm replacing the leaf springs on my D300 chassis and would like to replace the sway bar and go with poly bushings and new shocks as well.

Any suggestions on what else to replace or what shocks you guys are running?

Thanks.

Re: Will these wheels fit my d300 chassis

The guy had a couple of sets when I showed up. He was parting out a 1990 Ford F350 and it had nice Alcoa's with the larger lug holes and center bore. So I got 4 Alcoa's, 2 steel inner rear wheels, center caps, lug nuts and 6 tires. 4/6 tires were almost new. I picked it all up for $800. Seemed like ...

I have a 1970 Dodge motorhome on a D300 chassis.

Will these aluminum Alcoas fit?

The guy in the add seems to think so but I wanted your opinion before I pull the trigger.
