Re: NP435 questions
I have the 318 Poly. It's currently being bored and stroked to a 392. Not sure where you are on the engine build but Gary at Pentastar Performance is very good. He has a shop out at the airport and is on Facebook, I can get you a number if you need it. I work second shift at Westech in Mills and on...

Re: crew cab door help
I came up with 10 3/8" as close to the back of the door as I could get with the door handle in the way and 10 3/4" on the front. I measured the other side and had 1/16" less on both.

Re: what will fit?
I've had 17"x8" wheels with 6.25" backspace and 285/70 tires on a W200. Plenty of room on the back but not much turning room on the front. Most likely you wouldn't have that size of a tire on the front of a two wheel drive anyway. Careful measuring when the wheels are turned each direction. Never se...

Re: Wheels
4" backspace was stock. I have ran 17"x8" wheels from a 2004 Dodge which have 6.25" backspace. They had 285/70 tires and rubbed the drag link on a W200 when turning left. They were round and held air so they worked for a short distance. A shorter, narrower tire would've helped for steering but with ...

If you're wanting to buy local try Casper Auto, Inland Truck, Drive Train Industries or Napa. Not sure about the service at Napa and DTI now days but it is very rare to get the wrong parts from Casper Auto and Inland Truck. Or, sounds like hrclutch may be the way to go, I'll be checking out their we...

Re: Front Leaf Pack question- how many leaves?
I have two 1967 D100's, one is a short wheel base, originally 383, has 6 in the front and 7 in the rear with an overload in there so probably not stock. The other is a long wheelbase, 225, with 5 in the front and 7 un altered looking ones in the rear. Both have a 2500lb front axle but the short bed ...

Re: Photos of your truck being a truck
How my truck looks now and back in the day out four wheeling with the club and bad things happened. B/W Picture taken in October 1976. Picture is deceiving as it was taken looking up a fairly steep hill. My 70 D 500 doing what its supposed to. Load stuff and carry stuff. Glad everything worked out ...
