Finally found the right leaf spring bushing!
Hey guys. Just wanted to put this here so you don have to go through the same trouble I did. I have a 71 D200 camper special. I am currently redoing all of the springs and bushing in the rear end. When you search for spring bushings on a d200, most times you come up with the moog part #SB268. Well, ...

Re: Spring clamps
I don't know of one around here...
I guess I didn't look very hard yesterday, because I found some. Little bit different style but it should work. They are the Rancho 2.5" spring clips. Got them from summit.

Spring clamps
Hey guys. I'm needing some help. I am cleaning up my leaf springs (painting them and putting new spacers in). There are two "clamps" on each side of the stack that helps hold the springs together (I would assume). When taking those off, I broke the tabs that you have to bend back. I've searched arou...

The closest I can find to this color is honey bronze iridescent or Spanish gold iridescent. It looks different in person than in my pictures.

Re: Movie truck
Did you end up letting them use the truck? I'd like to know the name of the movie if you did.

What size tires are those? Looks like they fit really well.

I only took a pic of half the truck, but on photobucket it's showing the pic going all the way to the back of the cab, but on here I'm only seeing to just the front edge of the fuel door. Is that what you see?

I'm just gonna go with spanish gold iridescent aND be done with it. Lol. Doesn't really matter to me, I was just curious. This is the only d200 I've seen in the same color.

Can't find any pics of Moss Green Metallic, but none of the other colors match.
Spanish gold iridescent is the closest thing I can find.

Wow, haven't been on here in a while. Lol. Drew, it's the same color as the rest of the truck I believe. Never really payed attention.
JPA, I think it's Spanish Gold Iridescent. Closest thing I can find to it amyway. Think it's '69 color.

Re: 1971 D200 Longbed Camper Special
Does anyone know what color this truck is? I can't find any color codes or color matches at all.... I need to touch up the inside door panel, but I can't find any paint to match. Not sure looks gold-ish but, I don't think that color was offered in 71. Maybe medium tan 2219 or light tan poly 2217 . ...

Horn help
Wierd title, I know. I am having trouble with the horn. I pulled the (horn ring?) off and cleaned up all of the surfaces. It works pushing one way, but sticks on going the other way. I think the horn mechanism thingy is cruded up. It is riveted together so I can't take it apart. Anyone know what to ...

Spring rates
Do y'all know what the factory spring rate is on the d200's? I have a '71 needing new leafs front and rear.
Has anybody chaged them out with different ones? If so, what would you recommend?
Thanks!

Re: My tiny house build
Do you plan on building a shop/garage for tools and vehicles?
I'm not sure if I could live in a tiny house.... 200 sq ft is NOT very big! haha. Good luck with it!!
