Put the bearing caps back on loosely with the bolts in a few turns so it doesn't pop and hit you or get damaged on the floor. Then take a thick rag/ bundled up a tad and rotate the ring gear towards the pinion gear so the rag binds up in-between the ring gear and pinion gear and that will usually sa...
