Re: Power steering control valve seals
I contacted 61-71dodge sweptline parts and no rebuild kit or seals are sold by them. $400 to rebuild mine if it is "rebuildable". I might tear mine a part and try and match up some seals. Not sure if the Fords have the same internals or not, they seem readably available.

Power steering control valve seals
Looking for help finding a rebuild kit or seals to rebuild the power steering control valve on my 1970 D100. It has had a small leak for years but finally completely let go.
I found a old thread listing oem part numbers for seals but no one seems to list those any more.

Leaking steering assist cylinder
Looks like the steering assist cylinder on my 70 D100 is in need of a reseal. Does anyone have a part number for the seal or know were I might be able to find one?

If you posted up a few pictures of it someone could probably give you a ballpark figure of value.
It sounds like there is some sentimental value to this truck, what about hiring someone to do some of the repairs that your not comfortable doing?

Re: Aftermarket Air.
Classic auto air makes a under dash unit that is a stand alone system. Or swap the dash out of an original a/c truck!

Have you found a replacement ammeter that installs in the original dash location or are you installing a stand alone gauge?

Power Brake Booster Paint
I am looking to freshen up the rusty power brake booster on the 70 D100 and wondered if any one has tried to match the original metal look with paint. My other option was just to paint it the regular old black!

Yes, the aluminum grill with the inserts. I'm not sure of the condition of the inserts though.

I found an ad for a 1970 D200 that is being parted out. I would like to get the grill from it but have no idea what the going rate for one is. Any thoughts?

Re: 5.7/6.1 hemi in a 67 d100
I'd love to see you do a Hemi swap! I wouldn't keep that hood closed at car shows, I'd be proud of it! :Thumbsup I found that Hotwire Auto in Mena,AR is very knowledgeable about the Hemi harnesses. The 06-08 seem to be the best candidates to swap in. Good V8 power, 5 speed auto and good gas mileage,...

Re: Photos of your truck being a truck
It has a 14ft stake bed dump on it. I use it to haul logs, dirt, gravel or anything else I don't want to mess up my "new" Dodge with.
It handles about 6 tons pretty well but with 6.28 gears you can't be in a big hurry!
