Several years ago I added an old shock absorber bushing where the linkage pivot that goes on engine block side resides, it didnt have a bushing when i paid 300bucks for the whole truck, that seemed to tigh...

Re: New guy looking at a 69 Utiline
These trucks are fairly simple and a joy to own and drive. Brakes are not the most effective system even when completely rehabbed, you cant drive it like a modern car, give your self plenty of stopping distance. I recently picked up a 71 W200, I was gonna drive it some 80 miles back home but decided...

Back in the D200 saddle again....
So, I had a 66D200, I reluctantly sold it cuz I needed a 4x4, I found a great deal on a 78 F250 4x4 in order to get it I had to recover the owners airboat that was sunk. I did the recovery gave him 1200 bucks and drove it home, been using it for awhile sold my 66 D200 to another guy, who promptly to...

Awesome build! I love old Ford trucks near as much as old Dodges! I have been searching CL near and far for an interesting build that could be long distance daily Driver for my long distance recon trips! A while back I saw a mid 70s ford F250 with 351, 4wd, gear splitter, dual tanks set up in Wyomin...

Re: Off topic water harvesting project
Well done set up, I collect water all the time even though I live in Florida, at My GF place I have 5 55 gal drums hooked up on a pedestal 4 ft off the ground. When it rains it will fill all 5 of them in short order. This catches rain off a 100 year old barn with tin roof about 800sq ft.. I know its...

Wally, thanks for the response, Clutch question follows: When I first got the truck there was a spring (not OEM) on the clutch pedal assy, I took it off and for months noticed no problems other then a squeak when pushing in the clutch pedal at the mounting pivot point under dash. After some pinpoint...
