Guess he's a big deal with the muscle crowd
he isn't really that big with the muscle car crowd.. hasn't been around too long. a few guys on forabodiesonly.com know his stuff but most of the other sites seem not to know anything about him.

Re: Those of you running a Sid's dropped axle

I'd like to know what the distance is from the bottom of your oil pan to the top of your dropped axle don't they just modify the ends of the axle when they drop it? meaning that oil pan clearance is no difference then stock with just a dropped axle? now if you change springs i can see hat clearance...

Re: Capable Slant 6?

Hello all. I have not found much info on towing capacities, etc. With a Slant 6 in my W200 Crew Cab, is there any hope of ever pulling a camper, or a tractor / car on a trailer? If my pipedream is to use the truck for these truck-like activities, what would you recommend? :thinking Thanks, Jim sure...

Re: What's the answer.

Lil reds were available in 1979 with both round or quad.
78 had round lights and 79 had quad square.. no round on the lil red in 79..

the adventure trucks had quad square.. a 79 custom had round.. not sure on the other models..

Re: showed the truck some love yesterday...

Looks good. Can you tell me the trim ring width? My truck has white wheels as well, has the factory original full wheel covers on it. For years now I have been wanting to change the look every now and then with some baby moons and trim rings but I don't know what width of trim ring would be best fo...

Re: showed the truck some love yesterday...

I like it. I also have a turquoise truck and want smooth white wheels. Thanks for the great picture. I just couldn't find a good baby moon hubcap on white rim photo. You said the old 15's were to wide? What size did you have on the back? I have 235-75/15 all around at this time and I like the front...
