My truck has power assist steering and makes tighter turns to the right than the left, is that a compromise in the design or has something been put together wrong? I have disconnected the ram from the steering and it does not make a difference, the wheels turn out further on the right than the left....

Yes it's a hydraulic cylinder attached to the steering tie rod that pushes or pulls to assist the turn.

Does anyone know if the factory power steering components are the same for the A100 are the same as for the D100? I purchased a set up minus the power steering pump for my A100 years ago and have since sold the van and have purchased a D200.
