Anyone used the ACC carpet?

ACC (http://www.accmats.com) shows that they have carpet flooring (they say 68-70, but I don't think they know what they're talking about) for sweptline 100s and 200s. Has anyone bought this carpet? What is the overall quality and does it fit well? Thanks Also, the same mat is for sale $100 cheaper ...

Hood-mounted turn signal wiring

I have not seen a thread about this, if there is one please direct me to it.
I had to replace the hood on my 1970 D200 Camper Special, the new hood has those chrome turn signals on it. Does anyone know how these were originally wired?
Thanks.

What color is this? 1971 D200

I think the truck is Medium Burnt Orange (DT-5163), but not sure. Paint is somewhat faded, so it's hard to tell.

Re: Dude steering wheel question

Every original truck 69-71 that I've seen has used a 17-in. black plastic wheel that looks like this one: IMG_1254.JPG That is in a 71 D200 Camper Special, has factory power steering. I have a 69 W200 and a 70 D300, both have the same wheel. I have seen Dude trucks with the same wheel before, but I ...

Re: Dude steering wheel question

Do you mean this wheel? As far as I know, white wheels came on 65-68 D series with the Custom package or higher. Black wheels that were basically the same, except without the chrome horn ring, were standard 61-68. Three-spoke black wheels were standard on W series. 69 and on, the standard wheel in a...

Re: "S.O. Number"

S.O. stands for shipping order. I looked at all the 1968 trucks in the registry and over 90% shown have an SO number that begins with 17 or 18. There are a handful that begin with other numbers like 2,4,6,7 and maybe 9 (I forgot already  ), but all have a 7 or 8 as the second number. Thanks. M...

I can't find anything that says what the S.O. No. field on the data plate represents. Any ideas?

Re: cab swap education needed

Depends on how "original" you need it to be. Any 61-66 100 or 200 cab will bolt straight on. 300 and up cabs from the same period can be modified to fit, steering column sits different and transmission tunnel would need to be swapped. Cabs 67 to 71 have different door latches so you would need to mo...

Re: W300-d200 cab swap

The front clips are the same. 300 and up the transmission humps are lower. The steering column sits about 3 inches higher on 200s and 100s but you can patch those holes and cut new ones. All of that can be changed. BUT the 67 would be a hydraulic clutch cab, so the firewalls are generally speaking, ...

Re: Hole under headlight switch

The original choke cable would've gone there. Trucks with factory electric choke had plastic plugs covering that hole.

Re: Dodge Trucks in the movies and TVs

James Garner was stuck in traffic behind a Yellow 67-ish (I think it had push-button door handles, not sure, though) D100 or 200 Custom in the beginning of an episode of "The Rockford Files." I'll post a picture if I can find one.

Brake/clutch/gas pedal pads for '61-'68

Anyone know where to find these? The gas pedal is the biggest issue for me. It seems like most of them rotted off over time. My '64 still has the original gas pedal cover, but the '62, the '65 and the '66 all have just the medal rod underneath remaining.

Re: 1967 dodge d100 RUST...

Haven't actually patched rust up there yet... Does the rust extend underneath the gasket? If so, you may need to remove the windshield to completely patch it. From previous experience patching doors/floor, I would bondo in smaller rust spots and fiberglass larger ones. Really depends on how big of a...

Question about pre-fratzog era decals

Hello all. This is my first post. Been reading the forum for a while, but just signed up. Great community of Sweptline owners here. :Thumbsup Anyways, to my question: I know as of late 1962 Dodge began switching over to the fratzog for their decal. When did they start using these on the trucks and w...
