Re: Pictures worth sharing.
A Volvo wagon with a Corvette Z06 drivetrain. I painted it, and it was the last car Paul Newman drove in around Lime Rock!

Re: 64 D200 Discs
Here's a pic of my AAJ Install. Mine is a crew cab so the axle is a 3800lb usually found in D300 huge difference in drivability. I also did a power booster from pirate jack.

Re: Mocking up D-200 Disc Brakes
When I purchased it it came with the brackets, bolts, and parts list everything needed to complete the install I wanna say it was 250ish for it. The brake and bearing stuff was pretty cheap.

That definitely looks like 1 ton spindles and steering arms. If your close to it offer him a Hundo and grab it. Even if you don't end up using it I'm sure you could resell it

Key word insurance they work for next to free for them and usually give a 50% discount on the glass! Call as just a regular guy looking to have it replaced and see what the quote is. I'm sure you'll be surprised!

Re: Windshield
I just had mine replaced. Unfortunately all that was available was an XYG glass which isn't the best but is better than a cracked one. If you can try to get a PGW or Pilkington they are a better glass. If all else fails there are several sellers on eBay.

Re: (Another) kingpin question
I soaked mine with penetrate oil and used an air hammer they came right out. Are you sure the axle isn't a 3800lb? I thought that was the only one with the pin instead of the bolt. I just did mine rock auto had the moog kit with the bearing

Re: Sweptline Radiators from Champion maybe
The cc1640 dimensions are overall pretty much the same as stock. But the stock radiator has a much shallower lower tank and tapered corners. I have a decent amount of fab work to do! I would say this radiator would be a second option to the cc375 plus I started cutting on mine so I'm kinda committed

Re: Sweptline Radiators from Champion maybe
Definitely keep us posted! I pulled my radiator this weekend and the measurements on mine were very close to the champion CC1640 the only real difference appears it's 1/4 less wide overall. It should be here Thursday so we'll see. The specs are close to the CC375 so if I measured wrong I guess I kno...

Re: sids front axle
Has anyone had a 1 ton front axle dropped? I have a 67 d200 crew cab and when it's a crew cab 3/4 ton it comes with a 3800lb. D300 front axle in it and compared to a standard axle it's a lot beefier.

Re: New wheels, strange vibration. Please help.
Usually when it's a specific mph range it's a balance issue. First try to isolate the vibration do you feel it in the steering wheel or through out the truck? Then pull the 2 rims most likely off and check for excessive weight. If you find one with a ton of weight have it rebalanced make sure they s...

Have you seen the E stop electric brake? It's a frame mounted actuator you attach to the cable. It looks like a good solution speedwaymotors.com has em.

D200 crew cab king pin help
image.jpg I'm trying to remove my spindles and king pins it looks like there I a pin pressed in the front of the spindle retaining the king pin. The back has a open hole I'm assuming I need to drive the pin out to remove the king pin. The large hole is where the keyed steering arm bolts in. Any hel...

Used Basf limco their cheap line it took five coats to cover a medium silver way to many coats to hide and left a large tape line to fill. When you get old fat and lazy like me three extra coats on an overall really kicks your @#%!
