For sale is a 1961 Dodge 600 Fire Truck. Central body. Truck shows 19,329 miles which is thought to be original. City of Schell City is the second owner with truck originally purchased new by the city of Lebanon, Missouri. Truck has a 5 speed transmission with a 361 V8 motor with 2 barrel carburator. Truck carries 500 gallon of water onboard and has two electric hose reels. Truck comes with light bar which functions correctly. Truck comes with ladder and some canvas hose. Truck was just taken out of service by department. Truck has some surface rust as is shown in the pictures. Truck runs and starts reliably but is somewhat cold natured. As previously stated, one should contact the fire chief for more detailed info on the truck. Truck has served the city reliably but is sold strictly AS-IS. The city will entertain offers on the truck and reserves the right to end the auction at any time as truck is listed for sale locally. |
